Mount Tom House provided the perfect backdrop for his stunning wedding. I love how it offers many picturesque natural spaces, including a flowing stream on the hillside and numerous areas for guests to wander and enjoy. The florals by Branch and Bramble were the perfect complement to the scenery – I couldn’t get over how beautiful they were.
When Courtney and Warren first reached out about their wedding, they mentioned that they weren’t big drinkers but knew that their guests would appreciate a great bar. They also stated that, since they don’t drink a lot, they really appreciate drinks with good flavor.
They knew they wanted one bourbon drink and one fruity, fresh cocktail. We ended up serving a rosemary and berry bourbon smash and a watermelon mint margarita. Both have been on our signature cocktail list for a while and are always crowd-pleasers.
Courtney and Warren also opted to add our “classics bar” option, which includes all the classic cocktails you would expect to find at a bar, like rum and coke, vodka soda, gin and tonic, etc.
During our cocktail tasting, they mentioned that their kids love Shirley Temples, so we made sure to have plenty of Sprite and maraschino cherries for them.
Philyaw’s Cookout was responsible for catering all of the food for the cocktail hour as well as dinner, and I must say, it was all absolutely delicious! The flavors were so rich and satisfying. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned.
One of the highlights of Courtney and Warren’s wedding was the champagne toast that we provided. It was a perfect complement to the heartfelt speeches given throughout the evening. We made sure that every guest had the opportunity to enjoy a glass of champagne by pouring and passing champagne flutes tableside. This allowed guests to savor the celebratory moment and toast to the newlyweds in style. Overall, the champagne toast added a touch of elegance and sophistication to an already unforgettable evening.
